About Me

I'm Nikita Steele, a small town South African girl, with a big love for nature and the outdoors. Currently living in the bush and working at sea, I have the best of both worlds.

I had a childhood dream of becoming a marine biologist, travelling the world and working at sea to study and understand wildlife. And after life's many twists and turns I've finally found myself doing just that!

 

Working as an expedition guide and lecturer on expedition cruise ships allows me the opportunity to travel to some of the remotest and most incredible places on earth, sharing my passion and knowledge with our guests, and highlighting some of the impacts that are changing our environments due to climate change, as well as human activity.
